I am a professor at a primarily undergraduate institution. My spouse is a research professor and works two hours' drive away. This blog is primarily about life at a PUI, but also about our family trying to make the most of an uncomfortable lifestyle.

Me too. But shoe wars are so much more fun. Sorry I missed you...
ReplyDeleteThose look like great shoes except for one thing...
ReplyDeleteI am always getting dinks in my heels. It is annoying enough on patent or other wrapped heels, but on this shoe where the heel IS the shoe...
Well, I have the feeling I would bang them up real fast.
Of all the shoe war posts so far, yours are by far my favorite. John Fluevog is a genius! I remember my first pair of B&W wingtip Angels (ca. 1996) well... *sniff*
ReplyDeleteMeh- are these very comfortable?? I bit too functional perhaps???
ReplyDeleteI drooled over these for a bit in spring, actually, and ended up getting another pair from the same line (on clearance!). They are totally comfortable!
ReplyDeleteOh...I didn't know about Fluevogs. Now I'm drooling, too.
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love Fluevogs. I hope to one day have a pair or 12.
ReplyDeleteI like a cute old-fashiony midheel. I had to give up the stiletto heels because I ruin them too easily for some reason. Sturdy midheels are nice. But I am thinking these may be too much for me . . .
ReplyDeleteStill. The shoe wars *are* much more fun!
Now I've gone and bought a pair (not these, different style).
ReplyDeleteResistance is futile.
Hope that cheered you up a bit SHOEmaker.
